In Canbury Gardens there are open areas for informal games, a popular MUGA (multi-pupose all-weather sports pitch), some outdoor gym equipment and - for more formal sporting activities - public tennis courts, Kingston Rowing Club and just beside the Gardens, a tennis club (Kingston Riverside Club).

 

For gardening enthusiasts, “Canbury Gardeners” volunteers meet most Saturday mornings (10.00 till 12:00) and there is  Canbury Community Garden in the former gardeners’ yard.  Canbury Pavilion is a community resource which you can use for parties or to host a regular class or gathering.

 

North of the Gardens, along the riverside of Lower Ham Road, there is Albany Outdoors, Leander Sea Scouts, and then YMCA Hawker.

 

In the season, anglers fish along Canbury Gardens and the riverside beyond.
